1. What these terms and conditions apply toThese terms and conditions apply to every order of Jouw gouden kompas placed through my website. By placing an order, you agree to them.

2. What you buyYou are buying a personal reading in the form of a PDF. The reading is created using special software, based on the birth details you provide and texts I have written myself.

You’ll receive your reading by email, usually within a few minutes of payment and no later than 24 hours afterwards. If it hasn’t arrived after 24 hours, check your spam folder and email me if it’s not there either.

3. Price and paymentThe price is listed on the website and includes 21% VAT. You pay in advance via iDEAL or another payment method listed on the payment page. Payments are processed by Mollie. After you pay, you will receive an invoice by email.

4. Entering your detailsYour reading is only as accurate as the details you enter. Check your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth carefully before paying. If you don’t know your birth time, select the option indicating that you don’t know it. The reading will then leave out the sections that depend on the time.

You’re responsible for the information you enter. If anything is entered incorrectly, I can’t redo the reading free of charge.

5. No cooling-off periodNormally, when you make a purchase remotely, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. Your Golden Compass is digital content that is created and delivered immediately after payment. When placing your order, you therefore expressly consent to delivery beginning immediately. You also acknowledge that you thereby waive your right to a cooling-off period. Once delivered, your order can no longer be cancelled.

6. What the reading is—and isn’tThe reading is a mirror to help you tune in, discover and reflect. It is not a prediction or a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. You decide what to do with the information. If you have physical or mental health concerns, please consult a professional.

7. ComplaintsNot satisfied with something? Email me at info@inn-contact.com.
I’ll respond within 14 days and we’ll work together to find a solution.

8. For personal useThe reading is for your personal use. You may share it with people dear to you. You may not sell or publish the text, or use it for your own offering. The texts and design remain the property of INN.CONTACT.

9. LiabilityIf I am nevertheless held liable for damages, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the reading. This does not apply if the damage was caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence on my part.

10. Amendments and governing lawI may amend these terms. Your order is subject to the terms and conditions displayed on the website at the time you place your order. These terms are governed by Dutch law.

Privacy Policy

Who I amYour Golden Compass is a product of INN.CONTACT, the sole proprietorship of Lisette Laurens, based in Veenendaal. Chamber of Commerce number 70155577, VAT identification number NL206191510B01. I am responsible for what happens to your data. You can reach me at info@inn-contact.com.

What information I useWhen you order Your Golden Compass, I ask for your name, email address, date of birth, time of birth if you know it, and place of birth. Your payment is processed by Mollie. I only see whether you have paid, the amount, and the name on the account. I cannot see your full bank details.

How I use your dataI use your details to create and email your reading and to send you an invoice. This is necessary to fulfil our agreement. I keep your invoicing details because the law requires me to.

After your reading, I’ll occasionally email you with deeper insights into your reading and information about my own programmes and retreats. I’m allowed to do this because you’re my customer. If you don’t want these emails, unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of any email, or send me an email. You won’t receive them after that.

Who helps me make this happenTo make this work automatically, I use a few services to process your data on my behalf. Mollie processes the payment. Brevo sends the email with your reading and invoice, and occasionally an email from me. A software provider helps prepare the text of your reading. They only receive your first name and the results calculated from your birth details. Render, with servers in Frankfurt, hosts the software that connects everything.

Some of these services are based outside the European Union, for example in the United States. I only work with providers that have appropriate arrangements in place to protect your information in accordance with European privacy regulations. I never sell your information to anyone.

How long I keep themI keep your birth details and reading for up to 6 months, so I can help if you lose your reading or if something goes wrong. After that, I delete them. I keep your invoice details for 7 years, as required by law.

Your rightsYou can always ask what data I hold about you, have it amended or deleted, unless I’m legally required to keep it. To do so, email info@inn-contact.com. I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

SecurityI do my best to keep your information safe. The connection to my website is encrypted, and only I have access to order information.

ChangesThese terms and privacy statement may change as my practices evolve. The latest version is always available on this page.
